Quick Reference Table (Volume Weight Formula)
In international shipping, volume weight is usually calculated as:
Volume Weight (kg) = Length(cm) x Width(cm) x Height(cm)/6000
The final chargeable weight will be the greater of the actual weight or the volumetric weight.
Important Note: Starting March 1, 2026, Taiwan Customs requires an EZWAY real-name authentication pre-declaration fee of TWD 3.50 for each individual import parcel. Starting March 9, 2026, our company will collect a processing fee of TWD 3 on their behalf. [Click here for details!]
Volume Weight (Volumetric) Policy
1. No Volume Fee: If the sum of the package dimensions (Length + Width + Height) is within 150cm, the shipping cost will be calculated by actual weight only.
2. Value-Added Services (Original Box Shipping): For "Original Box" (single or multiple boxes) shipping services, charges will be based on whichever is higher: Actual Weight vs. Volume Weight. The volume weight discount does not apply to this service.
3. The "4x Rule" for Volume Weight: * If the Volume Weight is less than four times the Actual Weight, no volume fee is charged.
*If it exceeds four times the Actual Weight, a volume fee will be applied to the excess portion.
